Matthew Reiswig is a trusted expert in design, branding, and UX. With his love for user experience methodologies and beautiful design, he has excelled in many roles including owner, partner, creative director, and strategist in some of the most talented design teams in the country. Over his 20+ years of experience, he's had the privilege of working with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, including ESPN, CVS, and Toyota.

As a long-time lecturer and mentor, Reiswig is always aiming for others to cultivate the best of themselves. He has been an instructor for General Assembly's part-time User Experience Design course for six years.

Jason Wilson is a UX/UI Designer with a passion for helping users love the products they interact with. He's been a designer for three years and has worked at companies of various sizes, from startup to enterprise. He's currently a UX/UI Designer for VP Corp in Denver, CO, where he focuses on everything from user journeys to creating design systems for brands like Vans, The North Face, Timberland, and more.

Wilson's goal is to constantly grow as a designer and to encourage others to do the same by helping them hone in on the skills they need to advance to the next step in their career journey.

  • What's the time commitment each week?

    We recommend planning to spend 5-10 hours per week outside of class on course exercises.

  • How many people are in each cohort?

    Our maximum is 12.

  • What if I live outside the United States?

    Everyone is welcome! However, be prepared for instruction in conversational English and class times in Mountain Standard Time (MST).

  • Will I earn a certificate?

    You sure will! Feel free to hang it prominently behind your desk so everyone can see it on your Zoom meetings.

  • What does my tuition cover?

    24 hours of live remote class time, unlimited access to your instructor(s), Backpack community access, bespoke resource recommendations, class recordings, peer reviews, and expert recorded analysis of your course work.
